Ravenal Bridge

This painting of the Ravenal Bridge in Charleston, SC is from a personal travel photo from time spent in the area. This bridge fills the skyline in Charleston. Its dominant presence spiked my curiosity and was hard not to paint.

Painting is 7.5” x 9.5” on Cold Pressed watercolor paper, 140lb, unframed. Currently, it is in a black 12” x 15” frame with matte. Winsor & Newton Watercolor paints, with pastels for highlights, salt for texture
